Barcelona Fundamentals Intensive

The Gonstead Fundamentals Intensive Seminar will cover the Basic Gonstead concepts, including the Disc Theory of Subluxation, Base Foundation Principle and basics of Analysis and Evaluation.  

This seminar will include an Introduction to the most fundamental Gonstead Adjustments: side posture for Lumbars and Pelvis/Sacrum, Knee Chest for Thoracics and Lumbars,  and Cervical Chair for Atlas to C7/T1.

Adjusting the spine should be like learning a sport.  We should understand the goals and mechanics of how we do what we do (find subluxations and adjust), then have a series of exercises to develop with repetition a consistent adjustment of our patients.

We will discuss fundamental elements and concepts to make Gonstead adjustments feel like a "warm knife in butter".  While learning to do proper Gonstead adjustments, emphasis will be placed on Relaxation, Balance and Timing, as well as how to protect your own back so the doctor can deliver their adjustments with speed, good mechanics, patient placement, doctor orientation and leverage.

This seminar will set the stage for an Intense dive into Cervical Chair and Low Back adjusting and, finally Case Management and Advanced adjusting in the other 3 Gonstead Intense Sessions.
